It gives me great pleasure to present my presidents report for 2007/2008.
We had 7 teams play in the finals of pennant bowls with division 5 and 6 winning their grand finals and division 4 and 8a runners-up.
I would like to thank the bowls committee and sub-committee for their contribution during the year especially Alan Hawkes as secretary and Geoff Worsley as treasurer who always considered us a spend thrifts.
I would like to thank the ladies president Gwen Calf and the ladies of the Club for their cooperation and providing afternoon teas during the pennant season.
I thank the match committee for their contribution during the season. It is a difficult job and hard to keep everybody happy.
I thank Tony Walsh and the bar staff and Brenton Coad as bowls coordinator.
| I thank Bruce McFarlane, Scott Roberts and staff for the terrific greens which were also used for BRBA and RVBA events.
I thank the Board of Management who have supported me during the year.
The Friday night members draw and raffle have been well supported and Murray Rowe and I have enjoyed telling a few yarns etc.
I thank all our sponsors who have supported the Club during the year.
Finally as I am retiring as President I thank the members for their support during the year.
